Job Details

• Position: Cath Lab Registered Nurse
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse Assignment
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000 - $2,100
• Shift Duration: 10-hour days
• Schedule: Day shift with weekday scheduling; call coverage may be required
• Work Setting: Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab)
• Location: Fort Walton Beach, FL 32547
• Hours: 40 hours per week

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab, cardiac procedural, or related critical care nursing experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience with Structural Heart, IABP, Impella, IFR, and FFR preferred
• Ability to support high-acuity cardiac procedures in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Comfortable with self-scheduling and occasional STEMI call coverage

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures
• Assist with advanced interventional cardiology procedures, including PCI, TAVR, PFO, atherectomy, DCCV, TEE, and implant procedures
• Support patients requiring Impella and IABP management
• Collaborate with physicians, cath lab staff, and the procedural team to ensure safe, efficient workflow
• Maintain accurate documentation and monitor patient status throughout the procedural experience
• Participate in on-call coverage as scheduled and float to related departments when needed
• Deliver compassionate patient care while helping maintain a smooth, high-quality patient experience
