- Position: Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (Med/Surg RN)
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
- Assignment Length: 14 weeks
- Start Date: 10/05/2026
- Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts
- Shift Needs: Any shift availability, including night shift coverage
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
- Location: Nantucket, MA 02554
- Setting: Medical/Surgical unit
Job Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN license
- Current BLS certification
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
- Strong clinical assessment and time-management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate care to medical/surgical patients
- Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in status
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards and hospital protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care team members to support patient recovery
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and on time
- Support patient education, discharge planning, and continuity of care
- Maintain a positive, professional presence on the unit
