• Shift: 12-hour nights, 14:30–03:00
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 36 hours per week guaranteed
• Patient Population: Newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,100–$2,210

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in New York
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Experience with pediatric patients preferred
• Current AHA certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• NIHSS certification required
• TNCC certification required and must be in hand
• EPIC experience required
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and triage skills
• Ability to support floating as needed

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
• Assess, monitor, and stabilize patients presenting with stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, respiratory failure, and other urgent conditions
• Assist with triage, treatment planning, and rapid response interventions in a fast-paced Emergency Department
• Operate emergency equipment and support advanced ED workflows
• Collaborate with providers and the healthcare team to ensure efficient patient flow and timely care
• Document accurately in the EMR and maintain compliance with unit standards
• Adapt to changing patient needs in a high-acuity, high-volume environment
• Provide compassionate care while maintaining safety and professionalism at all times
