• Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Setting: Emergency Department / Emergency Room
• Location: Sanford, North Carolina
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,820 - $1,920
• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours
• Shift Duration: 8 hours
• Schedule: Every other weekend and some holidays; float coverage as needed
• Patient Population: All ages

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• ADN required
• Minimum of 2 years of emergency nursing experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, NIH, and PALS certifications
• De-escalation training such as HWC, CPI, or MAB
• Strong experience with trauma nursing, resuscitation, IV starts, IV drips, oxygen support, blood products, and basic telemetry/EKG
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented emergency care environment
• Psych ER experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
• Respond quickly to trauma, medical, cardiac, neurologic, and sepsis-related emergencies
• Perform assessments, initiate IV access, administer IV drips, and support resuscitation efforts
• Monitor telemetry and EKG findings and escalate concerns appropriately
• Provide oxygen support and assist with blood product administration when indicated
• Collaborate with the care team to manage a broad range of emergency and behavioral health presentations
• Maintain a calm, professional presence in a high-volume, multitasking environment
• Float or assist as needed to support department workflow and patient care needs
