Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of medical-surgical nursing experience or acute care nursing experience
• Ability to work a day/night rotation schedule
• Current flu vaccination required
• Strong patient assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with the healthcare team

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients
• Complete ongoing assessments and monitor patients for changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments according to clinical standards
• Coordinate patient care with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team
• Support admissions, transfers, and discharge planning
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, recovery goals, and follow-up care
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in the medical record
• Maintain professionalism in a fast-paced acute care hospital setting
