Job Requirements

• Current RN license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of experience in PACU, Recovery Room, ACU, or ICU nursing preferred
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• Strong post-op assessment skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced surgical recovery setting
• Ability to adapt to a varied-day schedule and deliver compassionate patient care

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, attentive post-anesthesia recovery care to patients following surgical procedures
• Monitor vital signs, airway status, pain levels, and overall recovery progress
• Assess patients for discharge readiness and communicate changes in condition promptly
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative staff to support patient flow
• Educate patients and reinforce discharge instructions as needed
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold high standards of patient safety
