Job Details

• Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
• Setting: Acute care Emergency Department
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,930 - $2,030
• Start Date: 8/31/2026
• Location: Show Low, AZ
• Patient Volume: Approximately 100 patients per day
• Facility Highlights: 30 private ER rooms, EDOU observation area, fast track beds, and a Level IV Trauma Center
• Charting System: Allscripts Sunrise

Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Registered Nurse experience, preferably in Emergency Department or acute care settings
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• PALS certification
• TNCC certification
• Strong ability to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
• Experience caring for trauma, cardiac, and neuro patients preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective nursing care to emergency department patients with varying levels of acuity
• Assess, triage, monitor, and document patient conditions accurately and efficiently
• Respond to trauma, cardiac, neurological, and other emergent patient needs
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and support staff to maintain smooth patient flow
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical protocols
• Support a strong team environment while maintaining quality care in a busy ER setting
• Use the electronic medical record system to complete thorough and timely charting
• Adapt quickly to changing patient volumes and priorities throughout the shift
