• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000-$2,100
• Weekend Coverage: As needed / every other weekend
• Call: As needed

• Unit Size: 8 beds
• Patient Ratio: 1:2-3
• Float Requirements: Yes, with a ratio of 1:6

Job Requirements

• Active RN license eligible to practice in North Carolina
• At least 1 year of ICU nursing experience required; 1-2 years preferred
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• NIH certification required
• CPI, HWC, or MAB certification required
• Experience caring for high-acuity patients strongly preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced critical care environment and float as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor patient status, respond to changes in condition, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
• Care for patients with respiratory failure and other complex medical needs
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions according to established protocols
• Document patient assessments and care accurately in the EHR using Cerner
• Support safe, efficient care delivery across assigned patient ratios
• Float to other areas as needed within scope and experience
