We are seeking a skilled and compassionate ICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Sanford, North Carolina 27330. - Shift: 8-hour day shifts
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000-$2,100
- Weekend Coverage: As needed / every other weekend
- Call: As needed
- Charting System: Cerner
- Unit Size: 8 beds
- Patient Ratio: 1:2-3
- Float Requirements: Yes, with a ratio of 1:6
Job Requirements
- Active RN license eligible to practice in North Carolina
- At least 1 year of ICU nursing experience required; 1-2 years preferred
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- NIH certification required
- CPI, HWC, or MAB certification required
- Experience caring for high-acuity patients strongly preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced critical care environment and float as needed
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
- Monitor patient status, respond to changes in condition, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
- Care for patients with respiratory failure and other complex medical needs
- Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions according to established protocols
- Document patient assessments and care accurately in the EHR using Cerner
- Support safe, efficient care delivery across assigned patient ratios
- Float to other areas as needed within scope and experience
