• Position: Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Location: Midland, Texas 79701
• Start Date: 09/08/2026
• Duration: 8 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,930 - $2,030
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Setting: Emergency Department
• Patient Population: Neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Charting System: Cerner experience preferred

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license required and must be active before start
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
• Recent travel ER experience preferred
• Experience in a comparable-size Emergency Department preferred
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC required or willingness to obtain if offered
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Level II or Level III trauma experience strongly preferred
• Experience caring for both adult and pediatric emergency patients
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays as needed
• Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and excellent teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care for patients of all ages
• Rapidly assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity in a fast-paced ER setting
• Administer medications, start and maintain IVs, and support emergency interventions
• Monitor and manage patients with respiratory, neurological, behavioral health, trauma, and medical emergencies
• Assist with procedures such as sedation monitoring, chest tube support, intubation support, and emergency treatment interventions
• Collaborate closely with respiratory therapy, pharmacy, social services, and unit support staff
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record
• Maintain a safe, efficient, and compassionate environment for patients and families
• Respond quickly to changing patient conditions and support the care team during high-volume shifts
