• Position: Travel NICU Registered Nurse
• Setting: Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
• Location: Fargo, ND
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,360 - $2,480
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating day/night shifts
• Schedule: Rotating shifts with every other weekend required
• Assignment Length: 12 weeks
• Charting System: Epic

Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of NICU nursing experience
• Active RN license with eligibility for North Dakota and Compact licensure
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Current NRP certification
• Experience in a Level III NICU strongly preferred
• Ability and willingness to float to PICU and Pediatrics within scope
• Epic experience highly preferred
• Ability to provide skills checklists with submission
• Strong neonatal assessment, critical thinking, and clinical support skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive neonatal nursing care, including assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation, and documentation
• Support procedures such as intubation, spinal taps, PICC line placement, IV starts, and admissions
• Care for infants requiring ventilatory support, CPAP, nasal cannula, and oxygen therapy
• Administer oral and IV medications, manage umbilical lines, and assist with OG/NG feedings and G-tubes
• Monitor critically ill, intermediate, and growing infants while maintaining appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios
• Collaborate with the NICU team to promote safe, high-quality outcomes for newborns and families
• Participate in unit orientation, including Epic training and guided support for a smooth transition into this travel nursing role
