• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910-$2,010

• Schedule Notes: Open to an extended contract option with overtime opportunities after 48 hours when applicable

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in Ohio or compact state eligibility
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
• Acute care hospital experience preferred
• Strong telemetry, stepdown, and med/surg nursing knowledge
• Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam
• Oncology nursing experience preferred
• Chemo certification preferred
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain prior to patient care
• Comfort working night shifts in a busy, high-acuity patient care environment

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to adult and geriatric patients
• Complete thorough assessments, develop individualized care plans, and evaluate patient responses
• Monitor telemetry and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Support patients with complex medical and surgical needs, including post-chemo care
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with standards of practice
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and families to support recovery, safety, and understanding of care plans
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold quality, safety, and infection control practices
• Contribute to a positive team environment that prioritizes patient-centered care
