• Position: Registered Nurse - Psych / Behavioral Health
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Location: Englewood, CO 80112
• Area: Denver Metro / South Denver, Colorado
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,860 - $1,960
• Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Setting: Acute behavioral health stabilization
• Patient Population: Adolescents and adults

Job Requirements

• Current RN license required
• At least 1 year of nursing experience required
• Behavioral health, psychiatric nursing, medical, or dual-diagnosis experience preferred
• Strong de-escalation skills required
• Ability to support care for patients with CIWA and COWS protocols preferred
• Comfortable floating across units as needed
• Ability to work night shift and provide reliable weekend coverage as scheduled

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care in an acute behavioral health setting
• Support stabilization and recovery for adolescents and adults experiencing behavioral health challenges
• Use de-escalation techniques to promote a calm, therapeutic environment
• Monitor patients and assist with care plans involving CIWA and COWS protocols when indicated
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to promote positive patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold unit safety standards
• Float to other units when needed to help meet patient care needs
