Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Tele Travel Nurse Job in Mooresville, NC

Job Details

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,820 - $1,910
• Location: Mooresville, North Carolina
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Shifts Per Week: 3
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Orientation: Bi-weekly orientation; 36 hours
• Patient Ratio: 1:6
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
• Setting: Med/Surg Telemetry
• Start Date: 9/8/2026

Job Requirements

• Active North Carolina RN license or Compact RN license in hand
• Minimum of 3 years of Med/Surg Tele or related acute care nursing experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS or Stroke Certification required
• Strong charting system and electronic medical record (EMR) experience required
• Ability to safely care for adult and geriatric patients in a 1:6 ratio setting
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Community hospital or LTAC experience preferred
• Must be comfortable working every other weekend

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care as a Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse
• Monitor telemetry and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions according to care plans
• Support patients with a wide range of medical and post-operative diagnoses
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to promote positive outcomes
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately and on time
• Maintain a calm, professional approach in a high-acuity acute care environment
• Promote patient safety, comfort, and effective discharge planning throughout the assignment
