- Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week, with every other weekend and every other holiday required
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 - $2,250
- Orientation: Approx. 16 hours
- Charting System: EPIC experience required
Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Active RN license in any state or a compact RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- BLS certification required
- NRP certification required
- EFM-NCC or AWHONN certification required
- EPIC charting experience required
- Ability to work a day shift schedule with weekend and holiday coverage as needed
- Must live outside the required local radius for travel nurse eligibility
Labor & Delivery Responsibilities
- Provide skilled, compassionate nursing care to patients throughout the labor and delivery process
- Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Support safe deliveries and collaborate with the healthcare team to promote positive outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in EPIC
- Participate in unit routines, including assigned weekend and holiday coverage
- Deliver patient-centered care while adapting to a fast-paced obstetric and women’s health environment
- Follow facility policies related to attendance, floating, and assignment expectations
