Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of recent ER nursing or emergency department experience preferred
- Strong prioritization, time management, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to remain calm and effective in a high-acuity emergency care environment
- De-escalation skills; CPI training preferred
- Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
- Comfort working night shift assignments and supporting weekend/holiday coverage as needed
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to emergency department patients in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Assess patient conditions quickly and prioritize care based on acuity and triage needs
- Support procedures and interventions commonly performed in the ER
- Collaborate with physicians and the care team to ensure safe, efficient patient flow
- Monitor patients requiring advanced equipment and interventions, including ventilatory support and chest tubes
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the electronic medical record
- Provide compassionate, focused care while helping create a safe environment for patients and staff
