• Position: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)
• Type: Travel nursing assignment
• Setting: Surgical Services / Operating Room
• Location: Winchester, Virginia
• Start Date: 09/28/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 4x10 day shifts
• Shift Duration: 10-hour days, approximately 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours; approximately 40 hours per week
• On-Call: 6-8 calls per month, may include weekends
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250-$2,370

Job Requirements

• 2+ years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Epic experience required
• Active Virginia RN license or compact license
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Experience with robotic, general, trauma, ortho, vascular, gyn, urology, bariatric, and thoracic cases preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a busy surgical environment

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care throughout the surgical experience
• Assist with a variety of surgical cases, including complex and specialty procedures
• Support patient preparation, intraoperative care, and post-procedure coordination
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and follow established clinical workflows
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia professionals, and the surgical team
• Respond to on-call needs as scheduled, including occasional weekend coverage
• Promote a calm, efficient, and patient-centered operating room environment
