• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend required

• Charting System: Meditech preferred

Job Requirements

• 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Active Oklahoma RN license or compact RN license required
• BLS and NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• ACLS and CPI preferred
• Experience with a 1:5 patient ratio preferred
• Meditech experience preferred for healthcare documentation
• Ability to care for pediatric patients as needed
• Feeding tube care and management experience preferred
• IV therapy and phlebotomy experience preferred
• Flexibility required; no blocked schedule

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to patients across adult and pediatric populations
• Care for patients with a wide range of diagnoses, including CHF, pneumonia, COVID, flu, stroke, cellulitis, UTI, and post-operative needs
• Manage routine Med-Surg responsibilities in a busy, team-oriented acute care unit
• Support patients requiring telemetry monitoring, oxygen therapy, wound care, IV therapy, and feeding tube management
• Provide care for pediatric patients with non-critical needs such as RSV, pneumonia, and failure to thrive
• Collaborate with charge nurses, house supervisors, and interdisciplinary support teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold best practices in charting and patient care
• Contribute to a positive patient experience through teamwork, adaptability, and clinical excellence
