• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend; 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week period
• Orientation: 24 hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,770 - $1,860

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for Maryland practice
• Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience required
• Experience in both ICU and IMC / step-down care required
• At least 1 completed travel nursing assignment required
• Cerner charting experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Must successfully pass an EKG rhythm interpretation assessment with a minimum overall score of 80% and 100% on lethal rhythms
• Comfortable floating to Med Surg and ED as needed
• Strong clinical background supporting adult and geriatric critical care patients

Responsibilities

• Provide expert bedside nursing care to patients in the ICU and IMC
• Monitor and manage complex cardiac, neurological, respiratory, and GI/GU conditions
• Care for ventilated patients and tracheostomy patients in a critical care setting
• Support patients receiving HFNC, dialysis, and peritoneal dialysis therapies
• Administer and manage non-titratable IV drips, telemetry monitoring, and cardiac care protocols
• Perform comprehensive assessments, interventions, and ongoing patient evaluations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver safe, coordinated care
• Float to ICU, ED, and Med Surg units when needed based on patient care demands
• Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner and follow all unit procedures and compliance expectations
