• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Schedule: 3x12s, weekends required
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,850-$1,950
• Charting System: Epic
• Float Requirement: Required within like units as needed
• Orientation: Provided prior to start

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing; compact license required at submission
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience required
• Travel nursing experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
• Experience with Epic EMR required
• Strong experience managing a patient ratio of 1:4 in a high-volume emergency department
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and float between like units
• Comfort working in a large, high-acuity emergency department
• Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, efficient, and compassionate emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients in a fast-moving clinical environment
• Monitor and manage complex cases including stroke, cardiac, trauma, and multisystem presentations
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and critical interventions as indicated
• Support ventilated patients, arterial line management, central line care, and continuous IV sedation
• Interpret dysrhythmias and ABGs, and respond appropriately to changing patient conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate timely, high-quality patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and follow established emergency care protocols
• Adapt quickly to shifting priorities while maintaining a calm, professional presence
• Contribute to a positive team environment that supports excellent patient outcomes
