- Unit Setting: Progressive Care / Intermediate Care / Stepdown

Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the appropriate state or compact state eligibility, as applicable
- Minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- CPI preferred
- Successful completion of the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum score of 80% overall and 100% on lethal rhythms
- Experience with cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation, MS/Tele, PCU/stepdown care, and wound care preferred
- Comfort working every other 3rd weekend
- Ability to care for a mixed adult and geriatric patient population in a fast-paced acute care setting
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality progressive care nursing to patients with varying acuity levels
- Monitor telemetry and interpret cardiac rhythms accurately in a stepdown and intermediate care setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments safely and effectively
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient recovery and discharge planning
- Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Cerner
- Support a culture of safety, communication, and compassionate patient care
- Adapt to unit workflow and meet the needs of a busy progressive care environment
