Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Active Oregon RN license or proof of Oregon license application and fingerprinting at submission
- Active Washington RN license or Compact RN license prior to start
- Minimum of 1 year of recent NICU, neonatal transport, or pediatric critical care RN experience required
- Recent flight nursing, mobile transport, or critical care transport experience strongly preferred
- BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
- Epic charting experience required
- Comfortable working in a mobile critical care environment alongside an RT partner
- Ability to support neonates and pediatric patients in transport and acute care settings
Responsibilities
- Provide high-acuity nursing care for neonates and pediatric patients during ground and air transport
- Collaborate closely with respiratory therapy and physician-directed transport teams
- Stabilize patients and perform critical care interventions as needed during transfers
- Support airway management, IV access, ventilator monitoring, and resuscitation efforts
- Use Epic for accurate and timely documentation of patient care
- Participate in orientation and flight training to meet transport team standards
- Deliver safe, compassionate care while adapting to dynamic transport conditions
