- Shift: 12-hour night shifts (19:00 - 07:00)
- Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts per week; every other weekend
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Duration: 13 weeks

- Location: New Haven, CT 06510
- Charting System: Epic
- Patient Ratios: Approximately 1:4-5 on days; 1:6 on nights
- Orientation: Provided prior to assignment start
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- At least 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
- BLS and NIHSS certifications required
- Experience with Epic charting required
- Comfort working night shifts and every other weekend
- Ability to float within scope as needed, including to care for boarders in the ED
- Strong telemetry interpretation and acute care clinical skills
- Pending Connecticut RN license accepted if active prior to start date
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to adult and geriatric medical-surgical telemetry patients
- Monitor telemetry, interpret dysrhythmias, and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications and manage IV therapies, including insulin and heparin protocols
- Perform wound care, line care, feeding tube management, and other common bedside nursing tasks
- Support patients with respiratory needs, isolation precautions, and mobility or safety interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote quality outcomes and timely care
- Float within scope to support unit and facility needs as assigned
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and uphold high standards of patient-centered care
