Job Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Experience in Mother/Baby, postpartum, women’s health, or maternal-newborn nursing preferred
  • Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced acute care environment
  • Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach to bedside nursing care
  • Comfort working collaboratively with physicians, nurses, support staff, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to postpartum mothers and newborns
  • Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
  • Support family education related to newborn care, recovery, breastfeeding support, and discharge readiness
  • Administer medications and complete nursing assessments in accordance with care plans
  • Collaborate with the care team to promote positive patient outcomes in a Mother/Baby setting
  • Maintain accurate documentation and uphold professional nursing standards
