Travel PACU RN Job Details

- Shift: 12-hour day shift
- Hours: 36 hours per week; 48 hours preferred when available
- Call / Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend and call required
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,070-$2,180
- Start Date: 8/1/2026
- Assignment Duration: 24 weeks

PACU Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of recent PACU nursing experience
- Prior travel nurse experience required
- ICU experience required
- Ability to read telemetry strips
- Trauma Level I experience required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Strong communication skills, flexibility, and a team-oriented attitude
- Ability to float as needed to related perioperative care areas
PACU RN Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality Phase I PACU care for pre-op and post-op patients
- Monitor and manage patients recovering from cath, EP, TEE/cardioversion, vascular, robotic, TAVR, and pediatric procedures
- Assess telemetry, hemodynamics, and cardiac drips while maintaining close patient observation
- Support groin management, IV therapy, ECG interpretation, and post-procedure recovery needs
- Care for patients using equipment such as IV pumps, PCAs, epidurals, arterial lines, and telemetry monitoring
- Collaborate with the perioperative and surgical team to deliver efficient, patient-centered recovery care
- Float to PACU, IMC, or ICU as needed based on patient care demands
