- Schedule Notes: Must work full-time hours, including 3 weekend shifts per scheduling period

Job Requirements
- Active RN license
- Cardiac telemetry, PCU, or ICU experience
- Strong ability to read and interpret EKGs and telemetry strips
- Experience with post-cardiac procedural care, including ablations, cardiac catheterizations, post-op open heart care, and permanent pacemaker placements
- Ability to administer and titrate IV medications such as insulin, Cardizem, Cardene, and Amiodarone
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Comfortable floating to other areas where competency has been demonstrated
- Commitment to patient-centered service, courtesy, and respectful communication
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality bedside care for telemetry patients with cardiac and medical-surgical needs
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, identify changes, and respond promptly to clinical concerns
- Administer medications and manage IV drips safely and effectively
- Support post-procedure patients following cardiac interventions and surgical recovery
- Perform and assist with common unit procedures such as IV insertions, NGT placement and maintenance, chest tube maintenance, temporary pacemaker care, and Foley insertions
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in Meditech
- Collaborate with charge nurses, unit secretaries, and patient care technicians to promote smooth unit flow
- Deliver an exceptional patient experience by using preferred names, explaining care clearly, and encouraging bedside communication
- Maintain a professional appearance in the required navy blue scrubs
