- Floating: May float to related critical care and intermediate care units as needed
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience required; 2 years of ICU experience preferred
- Strong background in medical intensive care and/or neuro critical care preferred
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Current NIHSS certification
- Ability to provide safe, confident care in a fast-paced critical care setting
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients with complex medical needs
- Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes using strong clinical judgment
- Manage care for patients with conditions such as sepsis, respiratory failure, ESRD, AKI, and post-cardiac arrest recovery
- Support patients requiring advanced therapies including CRRT/CVVH
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe, effective treatment plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold ICU standards of care
- Adapt to floating assignments within related critical care and intermediate care areas when needed
