• Schedule: 36 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts (11:00 AM - 11:30 PM), every other weekend and holiday
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,700 - $2,840

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
• Successful completion of pharmacology competency exam
• Current fetal monitoring course documentation, renewed every 2 years
• Recent OB / Labor & Delivery nursing experience within the last 2 years required
• Strong English reading, writing, and communication skills

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Administer medications and closely monitor patient responses
• Support safe, evidence-based care for laboring patients and newborns
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation throughout the patient stay
• Communicate assessment findings and plan of care to the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Assist in charge nurse duties and serve as a resource for staff when needed
• Promote patient safety, confidentiality, and service excellence at all times
• Use nursing informatics systems effectively to support quality patient care
• Participate in ongoing professional development and skills maintenance
• Support orientation, teaching, and teamwork across the Labor & Delivery unit
