• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
• Floating: Similar Med-Surg units; may float to PCU or ED for overflow with similar patient types

RN Job Requirements

• Active RN license at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of hospital experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Telemetry nursing experience required
• Strong clinical skills in a Med-Surg or telemetry setting
• Preferred experience with surgical bariatrics, cardiac care, vascular surgery, or wound vac/dressing changes
• Ability to work effectively as a team player in a busy, high-acuity, multi-tasking environment
• Flexible, hardworking, and adaptable to changing patient needs

Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to Med-Surg Tele patients
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Care for patients with conditions such as vascular surgery, bariatric surgery, general surgery, sepsis, atherosclerosis, GI bleeds, chest tubes, and arrhythmias
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to deliver high-quality, coordinated patient care
• Administer medications, complete assessments, and document care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Support wound care, dressing changes, and other unit-specific nursing interventions as needed
• Maintain a patient-focused, professional approach while working efficiently on a high-acuity telemetry unit
