Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
- At least 1 previous travel nurse assignment
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Strong background in cardiac critical care, including cath lab interventions, STEMIs, and post-code care
- Experience caring for post-interventional radiology patients and medically complex ICU patients
- Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity, fast-paced critical care environment
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to ICU and CCU patients with complex cardiac and critical care needs
- Monitor patients recovering from cath lab interventions, STEMIs, and code events
- Support care for post-interventional radiology patients and overflow medical/surgical ICU patients as needed
- Assess, document, and communicate patient status changes promptly and accurately
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the care team to deliver safe, compassionate, high-quality critical care
- Maintain accurate charting in MEDITECH and follow unit protocols and standards
