Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
• At least 1 previous travel nurse assignment
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Strong background in cardiac critical care, including cath lab interventions, STEMIs, and post-code care
• Experience caring for post-interventional radiology patients and medically complex ICU patients
• Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity, fast-paced critical care environment

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to ICU and CCU patients with complex cardiac and critical care needs
• Monitor patients recovering from cath lab interventions, STEMIs, and code events
• Support care for post-interventional radiology patients and overflow medical/surgical ICU patients as needed
• Assess, document, and communicate patient status changes promptly and accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the care team to deliver safe, compassionate, high-quality critical care
• Maintain accurate charting in MEDITECH and follow unit protocols and standards
