Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or a compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 18 months recent Emergency Department nursing experience
• Minimum of 18 months permanent experience in the ER specialty
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications in hand at time of submission
• TNCC preferred for emergency nursing candidates
• One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty within the past 12 months
• Ability to complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• Must meet all onboarding, compliance, and travel nurse requirements before start

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a busy Emergency Department
• Assess patients quickly and prioritize treatment based on acuity and clinical need
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions safely and accurately
• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in status
• Collaborate with physicians, ED staff, and the interdisciplinary care team to support timely treatment
• Document patient care thoroughly and maintain strong clinical communication
• Support a safe, efficient, and patient-centered emergency department workflow
