Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or a compact license in hand at time of submission
• At least 18 months of combined permanent experience in the Med/Surg Telemetry specialty
• Active ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• One reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty
• Strong telemetry nursing and acute-care medical-surgical experience preferred
• Ability to complete required orientation assessments and pre-start compliance items

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality bedside care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, recognize changes in patient status, and escalate concerns promptly
• Perform assessments, administer medications, and support care plans in collaboration with the care team
• Document accurately and maintain safe, efficient patient care throughout the shift
• Educate patients and families while promoting a positive patient experience
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary staff to support smooth unit flow and quality outcomes
