Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in Ohio or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 18 months of combined nursing experience in the specialty
• At least 1 year of Med/Surg Telemetry or related Med-Surg nursing experience preferred
• Active ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• One qualifying reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager (ANM), supervisor, or director in the specialty within the past 12 months
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and adaptability in a fast-paced acute care environment

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate patient care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, complete patient assessments, and document care accurately in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary care team members to support optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain professionalism, patient safety, and high standards of bedside nursing care throughout the assignment
