• Shift: Night shift, 3 shifts per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights

• Orientation: 16 hours

• Duration: 20 weeks

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months of recent permanent Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience
• Current Ohio RN license or compact license in hand at time of submission
• Active BLS and ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification preferred
• One recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty
• Certifications must be active and verified at the time of submission
• Must successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate during orientation
• Willingness to complete required background screening, fingerprinting, and pre-start compliance steps

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate care to telemetry patients during overnight shifts
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and promptly identify changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and treatments according to established nursing standards
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to support patient outcomes
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner
• Support a high standard of patient safety, communication, and teamwork on the unit
• Adapt to a fast-paced acute care environment while maintaining excellent clinical judgment
