Travel PCU Registered Nurse opportunity in Columbus, Ohio for an experienced Progressive Care Unit RN seeking a fast-paced acute care assignment. • Orientation: 32 hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,940 - $2,040

• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
• Setting: Acute care progressive care environment with floating to other units as needed

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience required, with current acute care experience in the specialty
• Active RN license in hand at time of submission
• BLS required
• ACLS required
• Telemetry experience strongly preferred
• Strong cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation skills
• Experience with IV insulin protocols and insulin drips
• Ability to safely manage peripheral IVs and maintain IV access
• Comfortable with isolation precautions and PPE practices
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Education from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to Progressive Care Unit patients with varied acuity levels
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to dysrhythmias and changes in condition
• Administer and titrate insulin drips per protocol as directed
• Support telemetry monitoring and ongoing patient assessments
• Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with the care team using Epic
• Assist with oxygen administration, nasal cannula support, and related respiratory needs
• Manage IV therapy, peripheral line care, and maintenance of vascular access
• Work collaboratively with rapid response and code teams when escalation is needed
• Float to different units within the organization as assigned
• Provide safe, compassionate care in a busy acute care setting
