• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,190-$2,310

• Healthcare Setting: Adult Medical-Surgical unit with orthopedic and oncology focus
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, every other weekend
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly
• Patient Ratio: Typically 5-6:1
• Orientation: Biweekly start orientation
• Dress Code: Any color scrubs

Job Requirements

• Active New Hampshire RN license or compact RN license
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• At least 1 year of Medical-Surgical nursing or acute care nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Epic electronic medical record experience required
• Orthopedic nursing experience required
• Strong clinical skills in adult inpatient nursing care
• Ability to work every other weekend

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate patient care to adult Medical-Surgical patients
• Monitor patient conditions, assess changes, and respond promptly to evolving clinical needs
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support orthopedic and oncology patient care
• Administer medications and treatments according to nursing standards and provider orders
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in Epic
• Maintain high-quality care while managing a typical patient assignment of 5-6 patients
• Support discharge planning and provide patient education for short-stay admissions
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented hospital and Med/Surg unit environment
