Overview

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent NICU experience required
• Active RN license required
• BLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• STABLE certification required
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced critical care environment
• Experience with neonatal documentation systems preferred
• Ability to maintain professionalism with required dress code and unit guidelines

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to neonatal patients in a 60-bed NICU
• Monitor and care for infants with a patient ratio of 2-3:1
• Use Philips monitors and document care accurately in Meditech and Centricity Perinatal
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support safe, effective patient outcomes
• Respond to changing patient needs in a busy, high-acuity neonatal care environment
• Follow unit policies, infection prevention practices, and patient safety standards
• Adapt to floating assignments within comparable areas of high need when required
