• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, weekend nights (Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Monday)
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,180 - $2,290

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of acute care, med-surg, telemetry, or stepdown nursing experience preferred
• BLS (AHA) required
• EPIC experience required
• Comfort caring for both floor-level and cardiac stepdown patients
• Ability to titrate drips per provider orders
• Strong teamwork, flexibility, and adaptability in a changing acute care environment
• Willingness to float to other floor or stepdown units as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care for a mixed med-surg and cardiac stepdown patient population
• Monitor and manage patients requiring telemetry and titratable medications
• Administer and titrate therapies such as heparin, insulin, anti-hypertensives, and other ordered infusions
• Collaborate closely with charge nurses, house supervisors, and clinical associates to support safe patient care
• Assess patient status, respond to changes promptly, and escalate concerns appropriately
• Support safe throughput, patient flow, and clinical operations on a busy unit
• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and follow unit protocols and best practices
• Contribute to a positive team culture while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
