Job Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN license required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and CPR certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of related acute care or ICU nursing experience required
- Level I trauma experience required
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to thrive in a high-acuity critical care environment
- Comfort working 12-hour night shifts and rotating weekend coverage as scheduled
- Must be eligible for assignment in the Boston area
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the Medical Intensive Care Unit
- Monitor patient condition closely and respond promptly to changes in status
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team to support treatment plans
- Administer medications and therapies safely and accurately according to care protocols
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress clearly and thoroughly
- Maintain a safe, organized, and patient-focused critical care environment
- Support families with professional and compassionate communication when appropriate
