Travel RN opportunity in Boston, MA 02215 for an experienced Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse seeking variety, strong clinical experience, and a collaborative healthcare team environment. This 13-week nursing assignment offers exposure to multiple adult med/surg units in one of the nation’s leading healthcare hubs.

- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,470 - $2,600
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts
- Shift Schedule: Rotating days, evenings, and nights; every other weekend and holidays required
- Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly
- Start Date: 9/7/2026
- Schedule Notes: Floating across multiple med/surg units; schedule may be assigned close to shift time
Job Requirements
- Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse license at time of submission
- Minimum 3 years of related nursing experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Epic electronic medical record experience required
- BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA required
- Basic computer skills and ability to navigate web-based applications
- Experience in a teaching hospital and/or specialty area preferred
- Level I trauma experience required
- Must live more than 50 miles from the facility
- Must have been separated from the health system for 6+ months to be considered
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate care to adult medical-surgical telemetry patients in a float pool setting
- Monitor telemetry, interpret cardiac rhythms, and respond to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications, IV therapies, blood transfusions, and Lasix drips as ordered
- Perform and assist with procedures such as 12-lead EKGs and nebulizer administration
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Adapt quickly to different med/surg units and patient populations, including neurology, cardiac, bariatric, oncology, transplant, vascular, and general surgery
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and follow unit-specific protocols
- Use strong clinical judgment in a fast-paced acute care environment with varied assignments and patient acuity
