• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130-$2,250
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
• Schedule: 5 shifts per week, 8-hour day shifts with variable start times

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of PACU or post-anesthesia care experience required
• Previous experience in surgical services, perioperative nursing, or recovery room nursing preferred
• Ability to work variable day shifts and participate in call coverage
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to complete standard travel assignment credentialing and onboarding requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality PACU nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures
• Monitor vital signs, airway status, pain levels, and overall recovery progress
• Perform thorough post-operative assessments and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Support smooth patient handoffs from the operating room to recovery and from recovery to discharge or transfer
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative team members
• Deliver care during scheduled shifts and call coverage, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety and quality standards at all times
