• Position: PACU Registered Nurse (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,130 - $2,250
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift Schedule: 5 day shifts, 8 hours each, with variable start times
• On-Call: Nights, weekends, and holidays as needed; approximately one weekend every three weeks
• Start Date: 10/19/2026
• Location: Nantucket, MA 02554
• Housing: Shared housing provided at no cost

Job Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• At least 1 year of recent PACU, perioperative, or circulating nurse experience preferred
• Scrub and circulate experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work variable start times and participate in call coverage
• Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability in a surgical care setting

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, attentive post-anesthesia recovery care to surgical patients in the PACU
• Monitor vital signs, pain levels, and overall recovery progress
• Support patient throughput and collaborate closely with the OR team and clinical staff
• Assist with scrub and circulate duties as needed in the perioperative setting
• Document patient care accurately and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Help maintain excellent patient flow while delivering compassionate care during all assigned shifts and call coverage
