Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BSN required
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience
• BLS certification required
• Ability to scrub cases in general surgery, gyn, GU, ortho, neuro, vascular, and robotic surgery
• Strong experience with Epic preferred
• Ability to work scheduled day shifts with no floating or blocked scheduling

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care in a busy Operating Room environment
• Scrub and assist with a broad mix of surgical specialties, including total joints, neuro, hybrid vascular, and robotic cases
• Support safe, efficient patient flow throughout the surgical experience
• Maintain strong attention to sterile technique, infection control, and universal protocol standards
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the perioperative team to deliver high-quality patient care
• Adapt to a fast-paced surgical schedule while maintaining professionalism, accuracy, and teamwork
• Document accurately in Epic and follow all facility policies and procedures
