• Additional Notes: Travelers must be willing to float based on staffing needs and may support nearby assigned locations within the same care network

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey or a compact state
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience, with experience within the last 12 months
• Current BLS certification valid for the start of the assignment
• Circulating nurse and scrub nurse experience required
• Experience with major orthopedic and spine procedures preferred, including knee and hip replacements, hand and foot surgery, and related surgical cases
• Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical services environment and adapt to changing case volumes
• Willingness to participate in weekend and call rotation
• Willingness to float as needed based on unit and staffing requirements
• Ability to comply with all pre-employment and assignment requirements in a timely manner

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room
• Circulate and scrub for surgical procedures as assigned
• Support orthopedic, spine, and specialty surgical cases, including joint replacement surgeries
• Maintain sterile technique and uphold patient safety throughout the surgical experience
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team to ensure efficient case flow
• Prepare the room, equipment, and supplies for procedures
• Monitor patient status and document care accurately during the perioperative process
• Contribute to a team-focused environment that values flexibility, professionalism, and excellent patient outcomes
