• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
• Charting System: Epic
• Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend
• On Call: Not required
• Float: Required to like units within scope of practice

Job Requirements

• Active New Jersey RN license or compact Registered Nurse license at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of recent telemetry or cardiac telemetry nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience using the Epic electronic medical record (EMR) charting system required
• Strong understanding of cardiac rhythms, dysrhythmia management, and telemetry monitoring
• Ability to care for a patient ratio of 6 on nights
• Comfortable floating to like units while staying within scope of practice
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for adult and geriatric telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized nursing interventions
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards and unit protocols
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support safe, effective patient outcomes
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in Epic
• Float to like units as needed while maintaining clinical competence and scope of practice
• Maintain a professional, patient-centered approach in a dynamic hospital setting
