Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) Travel Contract in Hazleton, Pennsylvania

Emergency Room Registered Nurse needed for a 13-week travel nursing assignment in Hazleton, PA 18201. • Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,070-$2,180
• Orientation: 36 hours
• Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every other weekend and every other holiday
• Charting System: Epic
• Patient Ratio: 1:7

Job Requirements

• Active Pennsylvania RN license or Compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• Prior experience with Epic charting required
• Strong clinical background in high-acuity emergency nursing and patient care
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
• Current references and copies of certifications required
• Valid state license or certification required at submission

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients across all age groups
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients with urgent and emergent conditions
• Provide care for stroke, STEMI/MI, trauma, sepsis, respiratory, behavioral health, and pediatric cases
• Administer medications, monitor patients, and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support safe, efficient care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic
• Support a patient-centered environment while maintaining safety, compassion, and professionalism
