Travel Labor & Delivery RN opportunity in Oregon City, Oregon. • Schedule: 12-hour night shifts
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekend Coverage: Required, typically every other or every third weekend
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,160-$2,270
• Location: Oregon City, OR 97045

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
• Compact license in hand at submission, if applicable
• AWHONN Advanced certification
• BLS certification
• NRP certification
• STABLE certification
• Epic charting experience required
• Strong experience with maternal assessments, fetal monitoring, postpartum care, and obstetric nursing
• Comfortable working night shifts and floating based on unit needs

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for laboring patients, postpartum couples, and newborns in a Labor & Delivery setting
• Monitor maternal and fetal status, recognize changes promptly, and escalate concerns as needed
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, triage, and high-risk obstetric situations as needed
• Support newborn care, including immediate assessment, thermoregulation, and resuscitation when required
• Educate and support patients and families throughout the birth experience
• Document care accurately in Epic and collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team
• Adapt to unit needs, including occasional floating based on skill set and census
