Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience in a hospital setting
• Valid RN license must be in hand at the time of submission
• BLS certification required
• Experience with orthopedics and bariatrics preferred
• Strong teamwork, adaptability, and a patient-centered approach
• Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative healthcare team

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to Med/Surg patients in a surgical unit
• Care for patients recovering from orthopedic and bariatric procedures
• Monitor patient conditions, respond to changes, and communicate effectively with the care team
• Support a unit with established staff workflows and a focus on quality patient outcomes
• Assist with a variety of post-operative and medical-surgical patient needs
• Float to Medical Oncology as needed
