• Schedule: Part-time nights, 2-3 shifts per week, every other weekend, holiday availability required
• Shift Duration: 8-hour night shift (11:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Contract Length: 22 weeks
• Start Date: September 15, 2026
• Location: Penn Yan, NY 14527
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000 - $2,100

Registered Nurse Supervisor Job Requirements

• Current New York State RN licensure
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in long-term care or skilled nursing
• Supervisory experience across multiple units required
• Graduate of an accredited School of Registered Professional Nursing
• BSN preferred
• BLS certification through AHA or RQI required during clinical orientation
• CPI certification within 90 days of hire
• Familiarity with NYSDOH requirements
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, analytical, and computer skills
• Ability to work professionally in stressful situations and manage multiple priorities
• Ability to safely perform duties with potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of nursing units under the direction of the Director of Nursing
• Provide clinical supervision and support to staff assigned to various nursing units
• Promote quality resident care through coaching, teaching, and ongoing staff support
• Communicate unit concerns and collaborate on effective problem resolution
• Make sound administrative decisions in the absence of leadership on off-shifts and weekends
• Partner with medical staff, department managers, ancillary services, and customers in a professional and courteous manner
• Support a safe, respectful, and patient-centered care environment
• Model teamwork, professionalism, and effective leadership across the facility
