Job Details

• Location: Wichita, KS 67214
• Setting: Operating Room / Perioperative Nursing
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 10-hour nights, 2:30 PM - 1:00 AM
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
• Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Schedule Flexibility: Option for 4x10s or 3x12s
• Call Requirements: One late night per week, one 8-hour Saturday shift every 4th week, and one 8-hour call shift per month on Saturday or Sunday
• Technology: Experience with DaVinci robotics and Meditech is helpful

Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care OR RN hospital experience
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt quickly in a high-acuity surgical environment
• Preferred: experience with DaVinci robotics
• Preferred: ortho, neurology, and vascular experience
• Preferred: prior Meditech experience

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care in the operating room
• Support a broad range of surgical cases, including orthopedics, GYN, general, urology, cardiothoracic, vascular, plastics, dental, eye, pediatrics, spine, neuro, trauma, TAVR, Mako, and DaVinci procedures
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the OR team
• Maintain patient safety, efficiency, and excellent communication throughout the surgical workflow
• Assist with call coverage and weekend rotation as scheduled
• Contribute to a professional, patient-focused culture in a fast-paced surgical setting
