• Schedule: Every other weekend and every other holiday
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
• Charting System: EPIC
• Trauma Level: Level II
• Healthcare Setting: Acute care emergency department

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• EPIC experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• TNCC preferred; may be waived for candidates with strong ER experience
• Ability to work overnight shifts and an every-other-weekend schedule
• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to thrive in a high-volume ED environment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population
• Care for patients with trauma, stroke, STEMI, behavioral health, and pediatric needs
• Administer and monitor critical care drips as needed
• Support triage, assessment, treatment, and reassessment in a busy Emergency Department
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, charge nurses, techs, and support staff to deliver efficient patient care
• Assist with blood draws, EKGs, and patient transport when needed
• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and follow established emergency care protocols
• Respond effectively to codes, rapid changes in patient condition, and other high-acuity situations
